Let it be known that a winning slot machine does not stand out from the rest. Actually, it is the RNG (random number generator) which hands out the winnings – not the machine itself. A loose machine, one that is paying out, is not going to be found in the same spots because casinos move their machines all the time. Who started that rumor that slot machines can be tightened or loosened on the spot?
This will never happen where casinos are tightly regulated. No one can predict a payout. There is no way to tell if the programmed payout percentage will happen in a few weeks, a few minutes or even a few days. Some think that pulling an arm is beneficial to pushing a button, but once the reels start spinning, the RNG has already decided if this spin will be a winner or a looser.
It is the timing of spinning the reels, and not how you got them spinning. Then there is that rumor that says if you use a hot coin, meaning warmed by a flame, it will warm the gears and “loosen” them. Maybe too many drinks started this thought and to add to that, weekends do not pay better than weekdays. Myths are just entertainment.
